  • Hardware: Austin, Melody, Derek, Audrey
  • Software: Anthony
  • CAD: Max

Agenda:

  • Go over action items
  • Rule quiz
  • Strategy brainstorming with #8565
  • Learn how to create the custom model, a simple one model to show the steps
    check 3D printer results
  • Practice GitHub process in getting and checking the code
  • Learn how to perform Wireless ADB

Action Items: ( Blue means completed, Black means ongoing and Red means uncompleted)

  • General
    • Everyone (Anthony): vote for FLYSET grant for FLL team applicants
    • Ray: finish the first draft of outreach inspiration notebook by 9/23/2017 and finalized version by 9/30/2017 (so we can assign other team members for other event writing to get us ready for Nov qualifier)
    • Audrey: send the team the completed logo files (the original word doc and jpg/png file) for both versions (black and white background)
  •  Hardware
    • Everyone: continue research and strategy design (based on robot in 30 hours video)
    • Everyone: watch all videos in First Things First series in Actobotics youtube channel
      • https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLHj0bn3rsCbRs85-1LVazl-hPFYHeYiV9&v=uUw7cQKF7Mc
    • Austin: testing 6 wheel drive performance on field and any improvements needed; document in the engineering notebook
    • Melody: Glyph intake. Get your design planned out and document in Engineering Notebook. Most likely we have all the actobotics parts available so you can start building in the next hardware session.
    • Derek: Look for relic scoring mechanism and research the feasibility; document your thinking in the engineering notebook.

rebuild the REV robotics chassis to make it bigger as that is another chassis during team discussion which may give mobility advantage (make sure you mount the DC motor in the correct way)

    • Audrey: design mechanism to score the jewels during autonomous; document your thinking in the engineering notebook; help Derek for his chassis build
  •  CAD
    • Max: print testing Rectangular prism from 3D printer (You need to send the file to Abhishek first to get first instructions on how to print the test prism); document the steps in the Engineering Notebook
  •  Software
    • Anthony: document the following in Engineering Notebook
      • Github update, commit and file comparison steps
      • Wireless ADB setup instructions
    • Anthony: complete the 360 degree test program and check into GitHub (available to test during next hardware session?)
    • Ray: complete the straight line test program and check into GitHub (available to test during next meeting?)
