Technical

  • Everyone: Update your status on Gantt chart before next team meeting
  • Everyone: Update your Joint Engineering notebook with your best skills (Due Friday night midnight)
  • Audrey: send engineering notebook entry evaluation comment on Saturday before team meeting, copy all parents. We will correct right away during team meeting, the team members can only go home after it is corrected. You will help track, they can only leave with your sign off on the engineering notebook entry
  • Everyone: complete your CAD model 2nd version
  • Everyone: test your andy mark motor performance with the MotorTest class in the githubb and filled in your results to the chassis results spread sheet
    • make sure each motor is tested under no load condition and with battery at 14-14.25v
    • This test requires encoder cable, if you don’t have encoder cable, come to my home to pick up one
    • you need to put a tape on your motor with the performance ticks you got from the test
  • Everyone: verifying the chassis test readiness
    • go through all tests per the spec to make sure they are working
    • test spec is at beginning of the engineering notebook
    • this is to verify that our description is clear enough for others to understand. You have been in the project and meetings the entire summer. You should be able to know the goal of each test and how to run them
  • Everyone: testing the chassis

  • Justin: invite team 9010 to our FTC workshop to present on fusion 360 (contact them for their 8/18 workshop to get our you/Amanda/Max registered)
  • Justin: Plan out the PTC Creo teaching based on last year’s experience so Max can start preparing the teaching
